Getting ahead in your career can be challenging. How do you come to understand the value and advantages you bring to your team, department or organization? About our Expert

Mary Horan will present "Identifying your career advantage"

Mary Horan is the vice president of organizational development and human resources at Merrick & Company. She has extensive experience in employee engagement; performance management; management consulting; training and development; and improving organizational effectiveness. Mary joined Merrick & Company in 2008 and oversees employee benefits, recruiting and human resources. She has helped to grow the company from six U.S. locations to 18 locations, including Canada, with engineers working on projects in more than 30 countries.

Horan has over 20 years of human resources experience in several industries and was president of her own HR consulting firm, where she advised senior and middle management on human resources design; job design; training and development; and building leadership capability. She is passionate about aligning human capital strategy with the short- and long-term needs of employees to succeed in their careers and become influential leaders and professionals.

Horan serves on several board committees both internal and external to Merrick. A native of Colorado, Mary earned her MS in Organizational Leadership and holds a BS in Management and Human Resources.

Location

This workshop is located at CU South Denver (10035 S. Peoria St., Lone Tree, CO 80134). Located one mile east of I-25 along Lincoln Ave. There is plenty of free parking available.
