Scot Chadwick, Vice Chancellor for Enterprise Development

Chadwick leads the CU South Denver enterprise and its vision to serve as the preeminent innovator of choice for accelerating talent solutions, propelling careers and advancing leaders by offering market-driven, distinctive programs for individuals and organizations. Chadwick also serves as the executive director for the Office of Digital Education at CU Denver and Anschutz Medical Campus. He continues his leadership role with CU’s digital education efforts, creating pathways to the University of Colorado for working adults across Colorado and beyond. Chadwick brings extensive experience as an education technology leader and advisor to higher education executives across the country and has held several business leadership roles in the private sector, within large multi-national corporations and education technology start-ups. As vice chancellor, he leads the growth of the CU South Denver enterprise, supporting academic innovation and amplifying its corporate and community partnerships.

Joann Brennan, Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs

Joann Brennan is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Colorado South Denver and an accomplished artist, Guggenheim Fellow, Smithsonian Fellow and professor. As the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, she leads the development and delivery of academic programs offered at CU South Denver. In her role she collaborates with a wide range of University of Colorado deans, faculty, and staff, from all four CU campuses, to support, build and deliver credit and non-credit market need educational programs. In addition, she oversees the development and delivery of all CU South Denver originating non-credit programs including custom programs designed for businesses and organizations. As an artist, her artwork has been presented in exhibitions and publications nationally and internationally. Her artwork is in the collections of the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, New Mexico State University Museum, the Paine Webber Collection, Princeton Art Museum and Danforth Art Museum.

Maureen Durkin, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness

Durkin serves as the chief of staff for the Vice Chancellor, overseeing human resources and a variety of organization-wide and strategic priorities for CU South Denver, including the most recent strategic planning process. In addition, she manages executive and internal communications, assists with data and reporting and industry and community relations. She also oversees CU South Denver customer operations including Welcome Desk, Gift Shop and Theater staff. Her twenty-year career in higher education has included time in career services, events planning, project management, legislative analysis, policy development and communications, marketing and communications, alumni and constituent outreach and development of strategic partnerships on behalf of organizations and leaders.

Jennifer Park, Director of Marketing & Sales

Park serves as the principal marketing and business development officer for CU South Denver, dedicated to building the CU South Denver brand, program enrollments and consumer base.  She oversees all aspects of marketing and sales including brand strategy and development, advertising, lead generation and prospecting, enrollment marketing, market research, meetings & events sales and operations, PR, social and web presence, communications and sponsorships. Park’s career has spanned several decades building reputations and driving sales for a multitude of top brands. This includes twelve years senior level experience in the higher education sector focusing on organizational strategy, enrollments, communications, advising and admissions; as well as an extensive background in advertising agencies, start-ups and major corporations

Richard (Rick) Sheehan, Director of Finance and Administration

Sheehan manages the Finance and Administration Department. This is a senior level position participating in strategic and operational activities. He is responsible for all financial functions including budget and financial reporting of the general fund and auxiliary business activities. In addition, he oversees the Information Technology and Facilities Departments. He represents CU South Denver on all related financial matters throughout the university system.
