Event Space Video Tour

Great Hall

Boasting the largest and most flexible space, the Great Hall is 8,000 square feet and can host seated dinners for 500 people. If you prefer a theater-style event, we can seat 800. The Great Hall features in-house sound, microphones, a drop-down screen with optional projector and room-darkening shades for daytime events. A temporary stage and dance floor are available. Additional screens, projectors and other A/V equipment to suit your needs are available for rent. The Great Hall is the ideal space for galas, banquets, holiday parties, lectures, presentations, trade shows, training events and even concerts. The Great Hall includes the use of the Atrium as well as the first floor gallery. The Great Hall is available for room rental rates starting at $1000.00.

Courtyard

Beautiful architecture, native landscaping and inspiring sculpture converge around the museum’s courtyard, offering you the most beautiful space for your event. Imagine your wedding ceremony set against a cascading water feature, wildflowers and quaking aspen trees. The Courtyard provides the unique feel of a beautiful Colorado mountain setting, located right here in the Denver metro area! The Courtyard and fountain space are available for wedding ceremonies as an add-on to your reception. Wedding ceremonies are allotted a 30-minute time frame from 5:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Veranda

Open and spacious, the Veranda is set off from the Courtyard, giving your event a more exclusive and private atmosphere. Set amidst a beautifully landscaped sculpture garden, the Veranda is an ideal space for outdoor events, providing shelter from the elements. Fitting for groups of 120–200, the Veranda is the ideal space for company picnics, family reunions, cocktail hours and wedding receptions. The Veranda is available for room rental rates starting at $750.00.

Movie Theater

The theater is designed to present large-format films and is a very flexible space that can be used in several ways. Boasting a mammoth, 60-by-45 foot screen, DTS digital surround sound and RealD 3D Technology, this 315-seat auditorium is the perfect venue for large business meetings, conferences, group presentations and lectures or symposia. The theater is also a great way to treat your employees and their families to a private screening of the museum’s current films. Included is the use of the theater lobby, making for a great space to host a cocktail hour or hors d’oeuvres reception. Arrangements can be made to open the Café for your guests to enjoy their favorite theater refreshments. The Movie Theater is available from 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. for $1,500.00.

Mezzanine

Overlooking our state-of-the-art exhibit, Globeology, the Mezzanine offers a unique location to host an event at the museum. This open, yet private, space is ideal for smaller gatherings of 80-100 people, and because of its location above Globeology, it gives guests the sense that they are on top of the world. The Mezzanine is ideal for smaller banquets, receptions, cocktail parties and presentations. The Mezzanine is available from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m., including access to Globeology, for room rental rates starting at $750.00.

Classrooms & Boardroom

Near the popular Globeology exhibit is a private boardroom that accommodates up to 25 people. Featuring Wi-Fi availability and a drop-down screen with projector, the Boardroom is the ideal space for budget planning, brainstorming or committee meetings, sales planning and even smaller team-building events. Classrooms feature state of the art two-way technology. Classroom availability is based on university class schedule. The classrooms and Boardroom are available for $50.00 per hour, four hour minimum.
