Looking for the perfect field trip for your school group? Come see what’s new at the CU South Denver museum and experience some of our new STEAM-centric programming. From animals to art, from the earth beneath you to the stars in the sky, we’ve got your learning needs covered. Bring your teacher friends and enjoy a sampling of our programs and get a tour of the museum. Although this event is free, registration is required.

Constellation Creation Station – Get a glimpse of our “Space Explorers” program with this creative activity. Learn about pareidolia—the tendency for humans to find patterns where in reality there are none—by creating your own constellations.

Biome Bonanza – Get up close and personal with our Globeology Exhibit by exploring specimens in our Biome Lab. Then test your knowledge in the Biome Battle- a Jeopardy!-Style game that is fun for all ages!

Art of the Animal – Could one of your students be the next Picasso? Come experience our new-and-improved art program, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of drawing and take part in a 40,000-year old tradition of animal artwork.
